When a roofing contractor working on a project overlooking Maroubra Beach needed safe, practical access and protection around the roof perimeter, Edge Protection Hire was able to provide a coordinated temporary works solution.

The project required more than just temporary edge protection. The contractor also needed safe roof access and an efficient way to remove old roofing materials from the site. A demolition rubbish chute was installed to allow roofing waste to be directed safely from the roof into a skip below. This helped reduce manual handling, minimise debris around the site and make the removal of old roofing materials considerably more efficient.
