On the project Edge Protection was tasked to provide roof edge protection on a quick turnaround to a builder who had unfortunately been let down by another company.

Edge Protection System Used

On this job, we again opted to use our pole-up system. The builder helped by adding a few timber blocks for use to install the brackets. The builder was impressed by our strong shiny brackets that of course complies with AS/NZS 4994.2

Benefits of Used System

The pole-up system used on this project gave the builders and roofers clear access to the working area and also left them room for them to install the gutters. Because the system used can integrate easily with a scaffold due to the handrails being aluminum scaffold tubes of 48mm diameter, the same size as our existing scaffold stock; connecting the edge protection to the existing scaffolding allowed full and complete roof edge protection and roof access.
